SCIOPT is the representative for the SCIENCETECH line of optical instruments in the U.S. (exclusive of CO, WY, UT, and NM).  

Since 1985 SCIENCETECH has designed and built hundreds of instruments for uses ranging from medical to industrial to space research applications.  Pictured here is Sciencetech’s SPS-300 Terahertz Spectrometer, which allows material properties to be measured in the far-infrared region (wavelengths between 20um to 3mm).  The Terahertz region is a new and exciting development in modern spectroscopy.
